Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto mountains in The Mesa neighborhood, this home is 5 minutes from downtown and a mile from local hiking trails. Guests will love the mid-century design elements and private swimming pool—created to mirror the distinctive shape of Wexler’s signature butterfly roof.

Travertine floors and exposed stone and glass walls create a feeling of indoor/outdoor living inside this single-story home. In the unique step-up living room, 2 sectional sofas sit by the TV and cozy fireplace. A separate, sunken sitting area, with a sectional and coffee table, offers a place to relax with a cocktail or laze with a magazine. Seat up to 10 guests at the formal dining table, which sits beside an inspiring gallery wall of blown glass vases. Off this area is the gourmet kitchen, with high-end appliances and 4 swivel chairs for leisurely morning coffee.

The backyard is landscaped with soaring palm trees, a Ficus privacy wall, and a lush side lawn with a lemon tree. Tanning ledges and water features invite fun in the swimming pool, or soak up the famed Palm Springs sun on chaise lounge chairs. Enjoy a drink at the shaded patio table with close-up mountain views. There is also a sitting spa, firepit, and 6-seat dining area with a grill. At bedtime, retire to the primary bedroom with a California king bed, TV, private bathroom, and poolside patio access.
