In Hauula, on Oahu's lush windward coast, Villa Aaleyah is a two-bedroom retreat for six, tucked between the Koolau mountains and some of the island's quietest beaches. Bay views, a garden, and a BBQ set an unhurried tone; a full kitchen and easy living spaces make it a natural for a couple of families or a small group who want the real Hawaii, not the resort version. This side of Oahu is all waterfalls, hikes, and empty sand, with kayaking and snorkeling minutes away and Kailua and the North Shore an easy drive.
